In the customizer > General > Site Layout section, there is an option “Inner Container Width“.
This option determines the maximum width of the inner content area when the screen is narrower than 1440 pixels. When the screen is wider than 1440 pixels, the maximum width of the inner content area will always be 1440 pixels.
When you choose:
- Normal – The maximum width of the inner content area will be 1140 pixels when the screen is narrower than 1440 pixels.
- Wide – The maximum width of the inner content area will be screen width minus 80 pixels when the screen is narrower than 1440 pixels.
